Presence Recordings is without doubt the biggest and freshest concept to hit the dance scene in years, the idea for Presence came when Hard Trance legend Carl Nicholson (Tidy/Nukleuz/Riot etc etc etc) decided that to stop the hierarchy killing the scene that he and so many others had worked tirelessly for 20 years for, he needed a rebellion, a unit that was not only the very best at what they did, but also, unbranded, uncorrupted and hungry to prove a point. So, then Carl went on a six month mission, and searched the globe for these beacons of hope, in the end he whittled it down to seven people spanning from the UK to Norway to Australia and back again, these seven guys ticked every box that Carl required, and now after a year of tireless effort and hard work, the seven stars of Presence were launched, each showcasing a different genre, each ready to bring the world of dance back to the forefront of our youth culture.


Since an early age of Fourteen Presence Hard Trance Manager, Kirk Whetton, aka Iridium has had a passion for all things hard in the music scene ranging from hard house, techno, hard trance and genres at the lighter end of the spectrum such as trance. Producing since before he knew about the harder side to music, around the age of 12-13 on an amateur level, he knew instantly he wanted to evolve this in to something really big. After years of constant track making, Iridium is starting to poke through as one of the most sought after artists the scene has to offer.



All this coupled with releases scheduled by Carl Nicholson, Tronical X, Technikal and more, 2008 is looking to be a milestone for Presence Hard Trance.
